I’ve been around movement and competition for as long as I can remember. I started playing hockey at five years old and carried that through college, where I learned firsthand what it means to commit to something bigger than yourself. But my relationship with fitness didn’t stop when organized sports did—it evolved.

After college, my wife and I spent several years in San Diego, where I explored new challenges—running, Muay Thai, and continuing to play hockey. That time shaped how I view fitness today: not as a single path, but as something that should grow with you, challenge you, and keep you engaged for life.

When we moved back home to York to start our family, I began coaching group fitness classes at a local gym. What started as a new opportunity quickly became something much deeper. I found a real passion for helping people—whether they were just starting out or looking to take their performance to the next level—build a relationship with fitness that actually sticks.

That passion has grown into working with individuals of all ages, especially youth athletes. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping young athletes build a strong foundation—not just for their sport, but for life. Teaching them how to move well, stay consistent, and develop confidence in themselves is something I take seriously.

Personally, I’m always looking for the next challenge. Over the years, that’s led me into ultra marathons and different physical tests that push me beyond what feels comfortable. I believe there’s value in doing hard things—physically and mentally—and that mindset carries into how I coach and how I live.

Full Circle Fitness & Performance is more than just a gym to me—it’s an extension of my family. My wife plays a huge role in what we’ve built, and our daughter has grown up in this environment, treating our members and their kids like extended family. That’s exactly what we want this place to feel like: a space where people are supported, challenged, and connected.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple—to help people build a relationship with fitness that lasts. Something they can rely on, grow with, and carry with them for the rest of their lives.

About Jake

Jake Javitt brings a lifetime of hockey experience, a deep understanding of player development, and a passion for helping the next generation of players reach their potential.

A York, Pennsylvania native, Jake grew up playing locally for the York Devils before spending six years in the Jr. Flyers Tier 1 AAA program. During his final two seasons with the Jr. Flyers, Jake was honored to serve as team captain and helped lead his team to the national tournament.

Following his youth hockey career, Jake walked onto the Robert Morris University NCAA Division I hockey team as an 18-year-old. He later completed his playing career with the RMU ACHA Division I program, where he served as captain and helped lead the team to three consecutive National Championships. In his final season, Jake was named 2009 MVP of the Eastern Collegiate Hockey League and was selected as a 2009 ACHA Division I First Team All-American.

After his playing career, Jake spent 10 years officiating Tier 1, Tier 2, and collegiate hockey throughout the Pittsburgh area. His experience as both a high-level player and an official has given him a unique perspective on the game, allowing him to understand not only how players develop their skills, but also how those skills translate into the pace, decisions, and demands of competitive hockey.

Today, Jake continues to share his love of the game by coaching youth hockey both on and off the ice.

Jake's Role at Full Circle

As Head of On-Ice Player Development & Skills, Jake oversees all on-ice skills and player development for Full Circle Fitness & Performance's summer hockey and off-season programs. He leads on-ice training for players ranging from 10–12 years old through 13–20 years old, with an emphasis on developing the technical skills, hockey awareness, confidence, and habits necessary for players to continue progressing within the game.

Jake works closely alongside Full Circle's off-ice development, led by Jeremiah Trostle, to create a complete approach to hockey performance. While on-ice training develops the skills and hockey-specific abilities required to perform on the ice, off-ice training develops the strength, speed, power, mobility, conditioning, and movement qualities that allow players to better utilize those skills.

Together, Jake and Jeremiah's goal is to give hockey players of all ages the opportunity to develop their game under one roof, connecting on-ice skill development with intentional off-ice physical preparation.

For Jake, coaching is about more than teaching hockey skills. It's about passing along the lessons, experiences, and love of the game that have shaped his own hockey journey — and helping the next generation become better players, teammates, and people along the way.

About Heather

I'm Heather — a full-time designer, part-time yoga teacher (200HR RYT), and mom of three who knows how full life can feel.

I came to yoga looking for strength — and it's become the way I build it, maintain it, and move better in my everyday life. It's helped me feel more stable, more mobile, and more confident. At the same time, it's taught me how to slow things down when I need to — to breathe through stressful moments, release built-up tension, and reset when life feels a little chaotic.

My classes are built around that same idea — helping you feel stronger, move better, and find a little more space in both your body and your mind. You don't need to be flexible or experienced. You just need to show up.
